50/50

                              This movie was entitled 50/50 because Adam (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) was diagnosed with a rare spinal cancer. The movie started as Adam was jogging around the city he started feeling pain from his lower back which he immediately consulted to a doctor. The doctor explained that Adam has a rare spinal cancer and his chances of living is 50%. Even though Adam doesn't like to tell her mother about his illness he decided to just say it. Adam's mother decided to move in with him and Rachael. Adam rejected her mom, however, as Rachael promised to take care of Adam. Adam also told his problem to Kyle (Seth Rogen) which is his best friend. Kyle did not take it that seriously because he said that 50/50 is still a good chance of living. Adam started to go to a inexperienced therapist, Katie (Anna Kendrick), and although their relationship and sessions started on a wrong foot, he slowly begins to open up to her about his experiences about the disease and how is it affecting him. After a few weeks, Kyle saw Rachael dating another guy and she was cheating on Adam. Kyle immediately reported it to Adam and the two broke up right away. Rachael started to beg for Adam's forgiveness but Adam refused to. Adam fought hard for his survival with the help of his best friend Kyle, Katie the therapist , and his parents. 

The Blind Side

                        Based on a true story of Michael "Big Mike" Oher. Michael is an extremely large, and very physical black guy who grew up in Memphis. He no longer lives with his Mom because she is a drug addict. Michael sleeps wherever he wants to, he usually stays at the gym because it's warm there. Wingate Christian School's Football coach saw Michael and said that he could be an asset of the Football team because of his size. Michael got accepted and started going to school. One night when Michael was on his way to the gym to sleep, Leigh Anne saw him and invited Michael if he wants to stay in the Tuohy's home for the night. But that one night slowly extends as the Tuohys begin to treat Michael as a part of the family and vice versa. Sj, the son of Leigh Anne, started to like Michael and started bonding with him. Sj trained Michael as a football player and started recording the improvements they saw in him. At first, the football coach of Wingate Christian School did not like the performance of Michael but as time goes by Michael became one of the best players. A video from Sj was spread among the different universities and they were surprised about the performance of Michael. Michael became famous and was drafted to a professional league. Michael was very thankful to the Tuohy Family for giving him the chance.

The Change-Ip

                                  Dave (Jason Bateman) is a successful lawyer and happily married and a father of three, while Mitch (Ryan Reynolds) is a happy go lucky person, his job is a light porn star. Mitch envies the life of Dave and vice versa. After one crazy drinking night their lives were switched accidentally  after peeing at the same time and wishing at a fountain. Upon waking up, Mitch and Dave noticed that their lives were switched so Mitch went to Dave right away, and told him what is happening. As they went back to the fountain, the fountain was not anymore their so it took them many weeks in order to find the fountain. At first they enjoyed what is happening after the switch but as time goes by they just want their old lives back. 

Dear John

                          Dear John is a story about a boy named John who lives in Carolina. After high school John enlists in the army. When John was on leave, He met Savannah Who is in Carolina doing a mission work. They quickly fall in love with each other. John has to leave two weeks after they met to go back to the army. They write letters to each other until John comes back on another leave. When 9-11 occurs, John is forced to re-enlist in the army. They started to grow apart and eventually Savannah sent him a letter that says she is in love with someone else. John was heartbroken and stopped writing letters to Savannah. A little while later, John's father died and left all of his coin collection that is worth a lot of money. While John is home for his father's funeral, he decides to go to Savannah's place. It turns out that Savannah married her best friend Tim, who John became friends with when he met Savannah in Carolina. Tim has a cancer called melanoma and there is nothing the doctors can do anymore to cure him. Savannah wants to bring Tim to a better hospital but she can't afford it. Before John leaves to go back to the army, he gave all the money from his father's coin collection to donate it to Savannah, so she could send Tim to a better hospital. He never spoke to Savannah again and goes on a living his life in the army
